I am very happy with the result of my genre analysis paper. I believe that I properly executed the assignment and was able to learn more about both the topic, the ASPCA, as

well as the genre analysis itself. I have come to the conclusion that companies

thoroughly think out the way they are going to advertise their product to gain

the most revenue. Each genre is examined very carefully from the way it is

appearing to the audience through the word choice involved. Genre analysis is

useful not only for businesses, but also advertising yourself on a daily basis to

gain more connections.

The peer review was not very helpful in my opinion. I did get some feedback, but not the criticism that I would have liked to fully flip my paper around. However, I would prefer the feedback rather than no feedback at all. The multiple drafts did help me properly space out my essay. Rather than cramming the week before, I was able to properly spend time elaborating and correcting each of my points.

 

I am still happy with the topic I have chosen. I believe that the genre forms the ASPCA has chosen correctly provide the awareness and publicity they need to run the society properly. The ASPCA has many genres, the ones that I have choosen for my analysis along with many more that I had not mentioned. I am going to continue to dive into this topic with my research paper by finding evidence on farm-animal cruelty.
